TWO MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS:
1.URGENT:
Urgent
means it requires immediate
attention.It's
"Now!". Urgent things act on
us. They
press on us; they insist on action.
A
ringing phone is urgent.
2.IMPORTANT:
with results. If
something is important it
contributes to goals. They
don't insist
action and press on us.Preparing
for exams
from first day of college is important.
THE
FOUR QUADRANTS:
Now
place the things you have to prioritize
in the following four quadrants.
WHAT INEFFECTIVE PEOPLE DO:

Most
of the time is spent in 1st quadrant.
They
get relief from doing 3rd & 4th quadrant activities.
WHAT
EFFECTIVE PEOPLE DO:

successful person has the habit of doing the
things failures don't
like to do,
They
don't like doing them either necessarily. But
their disliking is
subordinated
to
the strength of their purpose."

- They spend most of their time in 2nd quadrant.
- Very less priority to 3rd and 4th quadrant because
- urgent or not they are not important.

TO BECOME EFFECTIVE:

- Reduce time spending in 3rd and 4th quadrants.
- Use this time to do 2nd quadrant activities.
